Even after strain selection and parameter optimization, growth performance can vary over time. Our domestication and strain stabilization service focuses on long-term cultivation under defined conditions, allowing the strain to adapt to its cultivation environment and develop more stable, reliable, and often improved performance.
Through repeated cultivation cycles, we monitor growth stability, biomass yield, and production reproducibility while evaluating variability in key performance indicators. The domestication process supports continued physiological adaptation and can reveal opportunities for further performance improvements, through minor parameter adjustments.
All work is conducted under controlled conditions in the Pure Algae laboratory setup and includes cultivation, biomass harvesting, analytical measurements, sampling, and time-series data analysis. The result is a domesticated strain with predictable performance, providing a strong foundation for successful scale-up.
