New VALUEFARM Tower in Production
The 10m³ VALUEFARM Tower systems are now in production
After a longer period of working with the VALUEFARM towers, we have now scaled up this technology that is a part of the VALUEFARM containers.
The VALUEFARM Tower is a system designed for land-based seaweed production at industrial scale. The scaled up system works similarly to the regular one and allows seamless upscaling with a greater flexibility. The 10m3 system is ideal for large scale production and aquaculture integrations. Just like the regular sized system, the 10m3 tower also offers automated controlled and space efficient seaweed cultivation but on a much larger scale. Instead of working with potentially hundreds of containers, we have worked on how a system can get up to 100 times bigger without compromising yield. To ensure the yield is up to scale, the system has been tested to document if the 10m³ system and the 10m³ system is proportional in production.
The new scaled up system is expected to be ready for showcasing during the Nordic Seaweed Conference 2026. Together with this, we will show our latest solution to real-time biomass surveillance, with our new biomass sensors. The new biomass sensors are at a commercial state, currently as an add-on module before it will be integrated into our upscale system solutions.
